グレード差とは?

意味するもの

グレード差とは、2枚以上のトレーディングカード間の状態の定量的な差異です。グレーディングサービスは、センタリング、角、エッジ、表面の完全性といった標準化された基準に基づき、通常1から10の数値スコアを割り当てます。このスコアは、コンディションレポートの一般的な同等物です。例えば、同じカードのPSA 9とPSA 7の間の差がグレード差です。この差は単なる見た目の違いではなく、トレーディングカード収集というニッチ市場における市場評価を直接規定する成文化された指標です。

価格への影響

グレード差は非線形な価値の上昇を生み出します。ミドルグレード(例:5や6)からハイグレード(例:9や10)へのジャンプは、線形ではなく指数関数的な価値増加をもたらすことがよくあります。グレード9のカードは、希少性にもよりますが、同じグレード5のカードの3倍から10倍の価格で取引されるのが一般的です。9.5と10のようなわずかな差であっても、1.5倍から2倍のプレミアムがつくことがあります。一般的な高回転率のカードの場合、未グレーディング(raw)のコピーとグレーディング9の間の差は$50から$150になることがあります。
