Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of JunkPal at junkpal.ai and app.junkpal.ai (the “Service”). By creating an account you agree to them.
The Service
JunkPal identifies items from photos and text and estimates their resale value from catalog and market data. Estimates are informational, not guarantees. Market prices move, identifications can be wrong, and condition matters — always use your own judgment before buying or selling anything. We are not responsible for purchase or pricing decisions you make using the Service.
Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- One account per person; plans and quotas are per account.
Plans, billing & refunds
- Paid plans bill through Stripe on a monthly cycle and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Manage billing; access continues through the paid period.
- Scan quotas reset each billing period and unused scans do not roll over.
- If something's broken and we can’t fix it, contact [email protected] — we’re reasonable about refunds for genuine service failures.
Acceptable use
- No scraping, bulk-extracting, or reselling our catalog or price data.
- No reverse engineering, abuse, or attempts to bypass quotas or security.
- No unlawful use, and no uploading content you don’t have rights to.
Your content
You own the photos you upload. You grant us the license needed to process them (identify, match, price) and to improve the Service using aggregated, de-identified data. See the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
