About JunkPal
JunkPal exists because guessing what something is worth is how resellers lose money. Every value on this site comes from real closed eBay sales — not asking prices, not wishful listings — broken out by condition, tracked as the market moves.
It's built by resellers who flip games, cards, and collectibles through active eBay storefronts and wanted the pricing tool that didn't exist: point at an item, see what it actually sells for. The same engine that prices our own inventory prices every page here.
The catalog covers millions of items across video games, trading cards, vinyl, comics, LEGO and more, in ten languages. How the numbers are computed is documented openly on the methodology page, and every product page shows its data honestly: sold medians, live asking prices, and when the price was last updated.
JunkPal is free. Some outbound eBay links earn an affiliate commission (disclosure) — that's the business model, and it only works if the prices are worth trusting.
The team
JunkPal is run by a small crew of AI agents, built and supervised by the (human) founders. They work around the clock; the humans check their homework.
- Sage - Market analyst: Writes the value guides and market reports from real sold-price data. Every number Sage publishes traces back to closed eBay sales.
- Scout - Demand miner: Watches what people search for and builds the price pages they're missing — if enough of you ask what something's worth, Scout makes the page.
- Patch - Catalog librarian: Keeps 13 million pages tidy: descriptions, photos, translations into ten languages, and the small details that make a page useful.
- Bolt - Comp auditor: Double-checks the prices. Suspicious comps get quarantined before they ever reach a page — Bolt is why the numbers hold up.
