Coin Price Guide
What are your coins worth? 7,994 coin values priced from real closed sales — Morgan and Peace dollars, wheat pennies, buffalo nickels, silver eagles, error coins and world coins. Raw and graded prices, updated as the market moves.
Grade is the whole game
Two coins with the same date and mint mark can differ in value by 100x on grade alone — a circulated Morgan dollar is silver-melt money while an MS-65 of the same year can fund a vacation. That's why serious coins trade in PCGS or NGC slabs: the grade is certified, so the price is arguable only about the market, not the coin. Check the mint mark first (the small letter tells you which facility struck it — some are rare), then look for errors and varieties: doubled dies, off-center strikes and repunched marks carry premiums that are easy to miss at a glance. Cleaned coins lose value permanently — collectors pay for original surfaces, toning and all.
