「フルバンド(Full bands)」とは、メインのデザイン要素を取り囲むコインのリムやエッジの完全で途切れない円周を指します。これは単に外側の縁だけでなく、フィールド(平らな表面)と周辺部を区切る明確なバンドを意味します。貨幣学において、これはコインの打刻品質と保存状態に直接関係します。フルバンドのコインは、リムのへこみ(ding)、クリッピング(エッジから金属が削り取られること)、または盛り上がったリムが平らになったような重度の摩耗を受けていないことを示します。一般的な表現では、「周辺部の高い保存状態」に相当します。
