意味するもの

コインのコンディションとは、コインの物理的な状態を客観的に評価することです。これは、レリーフの細部、表面の完全性、光沢など、コインが元の特徴をどれだけ保持しているかを測定します。摩耗とは、流通によってデザイン要素が平坦化する度合いを指します。表面の痕跡には、傷、バッグマーク(袋による擦れ)、接触痕などが含まれます。トーン(Toning)とは、金属の自然な化学的変色です。損傷には、へこみ、リムディング(縁の傷)、腐食などが含まれます。業界では、コンディションを定量化するために標準化されたグレーディングスケール(例:シェルドンスケール 1-70)を使用しています。Mint State (MS) や Uncirculated (UNC) は摩耗がほとんどないか全くない状態を示し、Good (G) や Poor (P) は著しい摩耗と細部の大きな損失を示します。

価格への影響
