グレーディング基準とは、サードパーティの鑑定サービス(例:CGC、CBCS)がコミックに数値的なコンディションスコアを割り当てるために使用する、成文化された客観的なシステムです。このスコアは主観的な意見ではなく、特定の基準に基づいた測定値です。これらの基準には、紙の完全性(脆さ、シミ)、色の鮮やかさ、構造的な健全性(背表紙の反り、ヒンジの摩耗)、表面の損傷(しわ、破れ、インクのにじみ)などが含まれます。結果として得られるグレード(例:9.6、4.0)は、「ニアミント」や「グッド」といった曖昧な表現に代わる、状態に関する普遍的な言語として機能します。この基準は、その数値評価を達成するために本が満たさなければならない正確な物理的状態を規定します。

価格への影響
